Now you know you're going to have to exercise that new pet every day, right???
Congratulations--gorgeous MINI!
Such are the burdens of pet ownership. Fortunately I know many of the good local roads from my motorsickle crashing, er... riding days so we're good to go.
welcome. you have the color car i actually with i had. not lower it on some nice silver painted BBS's and get too it!!!!
woot!

don't let the mod bug bite you before the honeymoon is over. mine did, and 1.5 years later, the mod bug has grown huge, and my honeymoon is still goin on strong....
Bimjo that's a sweet ride, man... If I had the money, I would definitely be in a JCW that's for sure. Love the color and the JCW rims and the silver roof color and bonnett stripes...
How many miles and what did you pay if you dont mind spilling the beans?
Thanks RJ. I may have to head your way sometime soon. If memory serves the west end of Hwy 14 has a few not-straight sections in it.
Bimjo SR14 West ends @ I-5, but SR 14 East of Washougal is the Not-Straight Section you may want to check out. It is a 2 lane road, Trucks use it, so it tends to get backed up at some points. I don't know if I'd recommend trying it a night for the 1st time, but you are right it is a very nice 'twisty-turvy' road!!

My plan all along was to buy a JCW so I could cut the mods down for at least the first year while I got used to driving it. I don't mind getting dirty, but concrete is hard and my body doesn't tolerate it like it used to.

Had 38,400 miles on it and I paid $22k before tax/license fees. Like I said, I paid too much, but instant gratification is important at my age.
I remembered today what I really missed about not having a bike (besides leaning in corners) & it's punching the throttle and moving NOW instead of "sometime" when my truck thinks it really should.
Twenty-four hours and 70 miles later and I'm already used to it. Driving the truck again is going to be... disappointing I suspect.
