Hi-I am a "New Driver" have license.Mini is being shipped .I am taking lessons now.I have live previously in New York City where driving was optional .Wife has done the driving. Any tips or suggestions [Ofcourse I shall read the Manual and Driving Booklet from my State] all help with new Mini will be appreciated as I am quite nervous. Thanks .Alan

Lived there, drove there, believe me you will be happier learning in New Mexico. Do a little practice shooting, dodging, running, hiding before you go to the battle zone. Not only do you have to battle the cars, cabs, trucks, buses, emergency vehicles, there are also the ferocious pedestrians, and the windshield washing bandits.
