I may have gotten a slot in Week 41, but we'll see once the owner's lounge info gets updated. Right now it's still showing the car as it was before my MA modified it.

I've been lusting after a Mini since BMW brought them back, and finally decided it was time to bite the bullet and put my order in. Very exciting!

Congrats!! I've been loving my 2010 S since I got it over the weekend. So much fun to drive and everyone I show it off to loves it. Finally got my front grill badge on yesterday..decorating is now complete!

Congrats!! I have had mine for 4 months and still look for excuses to drive and actually take the long way home from work. These are FUN cars. The
Owner's Lounge has a lot of good info- you can even watch short instructional videos and look at the onwer's manual on line while you wait. Happy future motoring

 

Woohoo! My Mini has been scheduled for production! And according to 866-ASK-MINI, the expected completion date is Oct 14!

 

I am not immune to buyer's remorse but I can truthfully say I have not had a moment of remorse from my MINI purchase. I sold my beloved BMW convertible for the MINI. I was grinning from ear to ear about a mile after I left the dealership with my MINI.

Any official word on APR for your '10? Everybody seems to be giving rough estimates... but nobody I've known who has an '10 has solid info on that.

 

You know... i've always wondered, i understand the "carbon" part.. but why PUNCH leather? ..is that a brand? or a type of material leather?

 

I just took delivery of my 2010 Thursday, and got 3.99% through Morgan/Chase. When I went in, I was already approved for 3.99% through PenFed, but told my MA if they could meet or beat it, I'd do the paperwork there and be done with it. The finance gal got it matched through Morgan/Chase, I was in and out for the entire delivery process in 2 hours...and that included a full ResistAlll application while I waited.

 

You ordered yours just couple days after I did. Congratz. waiting game kills me, so I'd play some online video games and go out partying with my friends to get my mind off it HAHAH

 

WAHHAAAAA. Same estimated date as mine.

 

I ordered my new Mini 3 weeks ago. (MiniLounge says its awaiting transport.) If all goes well, I sell my '06 MCS today (crossed fingers) I don't think I have quite the anxiety level I've read elsewhere, as I've had the '06 for 3 years now. The only reason to sell the '06 is that it is a manual trans car, and my left knee isn't co-operating as well as it used when I was, uh, younger.

btw - Driving the '06MCS still puts as BIG a smile on my face when I drive it now as it did the first time I took a Mini for a test drive. When it does sell, and I'm "forced" to drive my 30+ year old Alfa Romeo as a daily driver, I will, most assuredly, become more anxious for my delivery date.
