Say hello to my first MINI !!

I've been a member of this forum for few years without actually owning a MINI....

Until yesterday...

And I took the plunge and bought my first (used) MINI today !!!

It is a 2005 MCS Convertible, 6 Speed Manual Transmission.

The previous owner retained the original sticker. It says

Combo #1 - Premium package
Combo #2 - Sport package
Combo #3 - Cold weather package
Limited Slip Differential
Chrono Package

It has about 35k miles on the clock. According to Carfax, it was imported on July 2005.

I'm so excited!! I wanted to sleep in my Mini last night....

It's red...

It already has Cold air intake, 15% pulley and Borla exhaust... So I'm not going to do anything to it - may be put 4 fog lights under the grill... and that'll be about it.

It looks so cute~~~

Very nice, If I do say so myself. Perhaps because my '06, bought used, has the exact same set of option packages. Love the chrono package with actual oil pressure & temp gauges!

Gauges? what are those? I have only one gauge that tells me how much I have had the top down. This is ever more useful that "trivial" things like oil pressure and water temperature (tongue firmly in cheek).

I too wish the chrono package was an option
