Just wanted to check in! Another newbie to the Mini world here. I walked on the lot today and found a MC OB/B with nothing but MCSW. Test drove it, made an offer and bought it on the spot. He will be replacing my current DD which is my 01 Vette Z 06 which after 100k faithful miles will now be my weekend car. And who would have thought that insurance on a MINI would be as high as a Z 06! But it is after 4 quotes including the MINI insurance program. Oh well! Going from 30 mpg on the highway to 40 or more will make up for it so life is good!

I got my first MINI last month. Officially I have had her for 36 days now and I love her. Ella is her name and she loves going for a run on the weekends when she has only done city streets during the week. We are still looking for a theme song. Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love. You are going to have so much fun. Enjoy!

Well took delivery today from Checkered Flag Mini in Va. Beach. My MA was top notch and the dealer experience was great. Of course I had to put on 120 miles today just testing him out. And here he is. Cell phone cam but you get the idea!
