The word "motoring" refers only to MINI COOPER? or it can be used in general?

 

uhm.. if you read the fine print of your mini coopering manual.. the secret decoder ring and the book.. referring to the use of words only pertaining to the mini brand. Motoring.. is a mini only word.. if you use it regarding another vehicle? Well let's just say the mini motoring police will roll up on you and take away said motoring rights for a min of 3 mins! At their discretion of course..

otherwise.. yeah you can use the word motoring with any other vehicle.. the truth is though.. if not used with the mini cooper name.. its just not as fun.. so not recommended

I think you COULD motor in any vehicle, but outside the British automotive realm you will not be understood.

To be safe, motor in your MINI, Bugeye Sprite, MG or the like and just drive anything else.
