Just called ASK MINI...my MCC is fully assembled and going through final QC now! I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope it doesn't have to sit at the dock for 3 weeks waiting for the next ship to the west coast!!

Anyone else just finish heading to PHMPOA - Port Hueneme, CA??

SO EXCITED!

Looks like mine will be on the Courage, which is just about to reach Southampton. MA says it may take a week after it gets into Charleston on the 16th until it is transported to Charlotte -UGH. It's only 3 hours away, one week? Oh well, it is all going along as promised - it will take 6-8 weeks from ordering to delivery. Anyone else going to be on the Courage?

i talked to my MA last night. They estimate that it takes 3-5 days at the vehicle processing center once it hits shore and then at least 24 hrs at the dealer for their checks/install. So a week sounds about right. I am looking at getting the mini between the 15 - 17 if the boat makes the dock's as estimated on the 11th.

Does anyone know the lag between the ship actually being loaded and the info becoming available on the WW web site? Seems the Courage has sailed bit no info that she actually loaded any cargo. I missed the Fedora by a day and would not like to think I missed the boat a second time.

Patiently waiting for the BRG Clubbie S

Weird when I use Marine traffic to look up my boat (the UNDINE) it dosent show that it ever docked in SouthHampton so I am not sure if I have the correct boat...

Don't worry. It took 2 days for my WW tracking to update with "loaded onto vessel." You should have "booked" and "received at terminal" under the WW tracking. Give it a day or two and cross those fingers.

Good luck!

Did you find any cars that have been loaded on the Courage? If so did you note or know the booking number?

Courage

I just did a quick check on the WW website, and it seems no MINIs were loaded onto the Courage. All I did was search a generic MINI VIN with %'s, and none of them showed they were loaded onto the Courage. According to the voyage tracking (EB913-COG), the Courage has left Southampton. If anyone has an order on the Courage please chime in.

Looks like the vessels currently in transit on this thread are the Undine, Otello, and Grand Dahlia...

Is there a generic BMW VIN that could be used to see if they load bimmers on boadr? That would give us a booking number taht could also be used to search for the cars loaded.

I was told that my Clubman S was completed yesterday. Can anyone give a reasonable guess what boat it will be on for NYC? Thanks!

So a quick Google search landed me at a the Bimmerfest forums and I came up with a very generic VIN. Only the first 3 numbers – WBS. Fill in the rest of the digits with %'s in the WW tracker and among the hits is a lone BMW on the Courage loaded at Bremerhaven on 5/30. The Booking Number is DEEHH748392 and the Bill of Lading Number is DE897708. I hope this helps.

On a personal note, it looks like the ETA for the Grand Dahlia (the vessel carrying my MINI ) has been pushed back a day to 5/20. I know, I know, a day may seem like nothing compared to the weeks we've all been waiting. But I want to make sure my MINI arrives at the dealer before June 30 so I can take advantage of the low APR MINIUSA extended. I'll be cutting it close to that deadline, especially if I get unlucky at the VDC.

Fingers crossed but still

My guess is the Maersk Wave:

ETD Southampton 6/9
ETA New York 6/18.

Ah you east coast bound MINIs are so lucky...

I found a few cars loaded on the shipping line, but none were on the Courage so, at least mine wasn't left behind.

interchange on the Undine

My interchange yellow 'vert is (I believe) on the Undine and sailing to New York with some of your Minis. I guess I better start the loan process!

Loans

Funny that you mention loans – I just got approved for an auto loan with Capital One about 5 minutes ago!

I am not sure if my MINI will make it in time to get 1.9% APR, so I want to make sure I have something to fall back on. I also noticed that 2009 Cabrios don't qualify for the special rates.

Gryphon - where do you plan on applying? I got 4.69% over 60 months at Capital One, but if there's a lower rate out there I'm all ears.
