That color combo looks fantastic! Pics pics!!
Scheduled delivery has been pushed out...from 8:30am Wednesday to 2:00pm Thursday.
Soon, very soon...
I think I'm the LAST of the week 23ers to get my car! I should have taken the advice of the infamous Jarid...I missed the May cutoff by about 3 hours!
STOOPID STOOPID me!

SO nice!! My clubman is the same color w/ the silver roof/pillars. I will post pix as soon as I take delivery, so glad I switched over to that color!!!
What kind of cell phone do you have? The quality is amazing!
Congrats to all the new deliveries! Stories are always welcome if you have the time to share.
And on a personal note, I received myMINI credit card today. It has my SS/W right across the front of it. Pretty neat. Time to start racking up those points! Hopefully by the time the free maintenance is up, I'll have enough points to last me another year.

Blackberry Curve. Set the Picture Size to large (1600 x 1200) and Picture Quality to superfine. It helps to have a large memory card too.
More pictures to come soon.

A little quiet here....
Been a little quiet here lately. I suppose most of us 23ers are off and motoring by now, and I certainly can't blame you all for that.
But for those still waiting, let us know how delivery goes. I, for one, am still interested...
I hit 1000 miles today, so my break-in is almost done. And a weird thing happened right when I hit 1K – my DSC turned off all on its own. Didn't really see a difference in the drive, and all I did was hit the button by the shifter and it was back on. Weird...
My MINI is getting its first wash tomorrow. Both of us are pretty excited.

SOOOOOO CLOSE NOW!!!! My poor bicycle is going to be so lonely...
Am I going to be able to sleep tonight???
Anyone score any cool swag from the dealerships?? Anything I should ask for??
No bike rack? My gf and I are thinking of taking up cycling, so I might have to look into one of these for my MINI. Definitely would prefer a rear mount than a roof mount though...
Wow, that's some serious motoring!
I got the bill for my first payment today...
I just enrolled in all the online financial services on the Owner's Lounge: automatic payments, paperless billing, email notifications, the whole nine. Pretty nice. I also started racking up points on myMINI card. Free service, here I come!

Meet Hobbes!
Hobbes is officially home!
The delivery went really well and even the financing bit was quite painless. I even managed to get in on the 3.9% for 60 months deal, which made me even happier!
I got to the dealership a bit before one and met with Rocky, my MA. We sat down and went over all the manuals and such while the finance person got everything in order. I had forgotten to bring along my proof of insurance from my old car, so I had to call up my insurance company and get them to fax that on over. After that was received, it was on to talk to Diane, the finance person, who informed me that I qualified for the 3.9!
Went through all the signing and such and (since I put a rather large down payment on the car so as to keep the monthly payments low) after writing out a very large check, it was time to meet Hobbes.
Northwest MINI has a delivery room and when you first get there, they have the car under a cover. It was then time to unveil - Rocky took one side and I the other and we rolled back the cover.
Wow, he looked great! It was still hard to believe that this machine was mine! He then took about twenty minutes or so going over most of the functions and buttons and such before driving it out of the delivery room and handing me the keys.
My parents had driven me down, and at this point my Mom abandoned my Dad - she wanted to be the first passenger.
We drove back to their house and by the time we got there, my Mom was in love with the car.
For me, it was amazing! How the car handles and feels on the road is incredible - especially after driving a '96 Subaru Outback for the past ten years.
Here are a couple quick pics I took in my parents' driveway. I'll post some better images once the sun comes back out and I find a more interesting background.
