Drop off point is Brunswick. If my car had been dropped off in Halifax, why would I still be tracking the boat?

Never mind. Status makes sense now. The sequence at the Brunswick port was:

1) "CUSTOMS RELEASE"
2) "LINER RELEASE"
3) "DISCHARGED"

The WW site says the boat has already sailed from port...

Now, Brunswick is about a 5.5 hour drive from the dealership. I should be getting a call tonight, right? Right??

I wish! I am still waiting for a call back or email back from my MA. With my status on the OL sitting on "At the Dealer" I am kind of chomping at the bit to find out whats going on at this point.

Its a JCW hardtop - Midnight Black - Cloth interior - Cold Weather Package, Xenon, Rear fogs, White turn signals, Red color line, MF Steering, Hi Fi, Bluetooth/USB.

From the dealer I added the alarm, sports striped in red and the bumper protection (I have a 70lb bulldog that loves to go for rides and scratched my last coopers boot to hell)

So, per sailwx.info...the Otello (Othello) is getting VERY close to the panama canal. Any way to know when it will get there?? I would love to watch it go through but not sure how to tell!! Woohoo!!

Wow, I see more and more JCW orders/owners on NAM. Right now, I don't really need that power (nor can my budget allow it), but maybe someday...

I managed to catch my vessel, the Grand Dahlia, on the Panama Canal webcams just as it was passing through the last set of locks. Its a pretty involved process but if you wanna put in the effort, its pretty exciting (at least for me it was ).

1. Look up your vessel at MarineTraffic.com and get an ETA for Panama
2. Register for free at VesselTracker.com, and start tracking it when the ETA gets close.
3. Once the vessel is moored/anchored before the actual canal, start watching those Panama Canal webcams.
4. With good timing and a little luck, you should be able to catch a glimpse of your boat pass through the locks!
5.

Good Luck!

Well my first Mini was an 05 S. I had hoped to get the JCW kit done to that but then the car was taken from me when my parking lot overflowed and the car was totaled. I always told myself that whenever I go back to the mini I am going to do it all the way. I was actually in the process of saving for this car when I got rear ended in my current car (ford focus...i went cheap after losing the first mini) and that was totaled. So I was somewhat forced to accelerate my plan to get the mini. I ended up cutting the Nav and auto AC but I am happy with the build.... I spent way more then I should have and I will be absolutly broke for a few mo's but at least I will have my baby back.

So...the Vessel Tracker website is 2 hours behind, but the Otello has been moored outside of the entrance to the canal all day. Did the Grand Dahlia have to sit there and wait?? I've been watching the cams, but without an idea of when it is actually going to start going through it is kind of hard to stay focused and a bit problematic for work!! Guess I will just sit here and wait for it...then ride my bike home from work and wait some more!

Anyone else watching for the Otello???

Triton Highway is now docked in Baltimore according to vesseltracker.com so it is running on schedule and is expected, according to the Port of Charleston, to arrive in SC on Friday. I guess they then all go to the VDC in Greer before being trucked to the dealership. I should still have this before Independence Day!

Yup! I'm another one of the 263 MINIs that are aboard the Otello! It looks like she is anchored off getting ready for a canal transit - can't quite figure out when though!

Congrats and Grand Dahlia update!

Congrats l00pus!!! We are all waiting to see those pics!

And for more exciting news for the few soon-to-be motorers on the Grand Dahlia - she popped up on MarineTraffic.com again!

She's just before the Ensanada port in Mexico. The ETA info still says its heading for Panama, but I'm sure it just hasn't been updated. My guess is the Grand Dahlia may arrive at Port Hueneme late Thursday evening if we are lucky, but definitely by Friday.

This is getting so close!

***UPDATE***
So MarineTraffic.com updated the Grand Dahlia's ETA and it now show's she will arrive at Port Hueneme on 6/18 (today!) at 10:00 AM PDT! I think this means MINIs on this vessel will be at the VDC by Friday.

I've got her on live AIS tracking at MarineTraffic.com off the coast of Southern California, near Carlsbad!

So close!

It's getting so close for a lot of Week 23 deliveries!

dslucki - where did you order you MINI? I'll be picking mine up at Long Beach. I'm going to call my MA today and see if he can give me some kind of ETA for delivery. I sent him an email earlier this week, but he has yet to respond. Time to get proactive!

I wouldn't wait for my MA to call – you've waiting long enough! Get on the phone and make something happen! Just my opinion...

Universal. My MA is really great. I'll see what I can find out and post it here.

**UPDATE** - in reading the sticky post HERE it says that "At the quickest, a Priority One car could be fully processed in two days." Since our cars are pre-sold they are considered Priority One. So are we looking at Monday for the delivery to the dealership?

Still waiting

I'm a Week 21 build here. My MINI got to Charleston, SC last Monday and they had to add the JCW Aero kit so my mini is not get to the dealership until next monday . I was a pre-order and I feel like I'm getting very little attention from MINI or my dealership! But the good news is that it will be here next week!

I ordered from Hilary at Mini Towson.

Not sure if it helps any of you guys but my car arrived at the port in NY last fri early morning. The dealer received the car on Tuesday of this week and I was able to pick it up on Wed. So that was Friday - Monday to Unload, go to the VDC and travel down 95 to my dealer.
