Hello!

I'm new to NAM and to being a MINI Cooper (2005) owner.

I need to replace my front brakes, and could use some advice. As you know, times are tight (as is money); unfortunately, this is work I can't put off.

I spoke with my local auto shop about brake parts, and here are the parts that came up in their computer (as OE, etc.):
- Brembo Brake Rotors (Front)
- Textar Brake Pad Set (Front) [or Pagid or Jurid]
- Brake Pad Sensor

Does anyone on this forum have any opinions about these brands/vendors? Any I should stay away from? Advice? Suggestions?

(Going to dealership isn't an option. My local shop is trustworthy and good with Minis.)
