So after years of eyeing one and a few test drives, I placed my order this Saturday for a 2009 MCS!


Haven't gotten my production # yet, but when I do, hopefully I'll find some others around here to do the waiting with!

What did the rest of you do to survive the long wait?

oh and to answer your question on waiting: I did a lot of stressing out, and looking on the boards, and in the week of production threads, and tracking my mini through the panama canal(https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html)! Also a lot of dreaming as to what I was going to do to my mine (none of which I've actually done yet, except the all around tint)

Congrats! I get mine this Saturday! How did I pass the time?

Spent an obsessive amount of time on these forums, explored as many Accessory sites as posisble so I could start making my wish list of all the extra goodies I'm going to want

Once you get on your ship, you'll then be able to obsess over the GPS movement of your baby on its way home. I literally watched my ship pull into the harbor and dock at the port. Hmmmmmm, how will I pass the time once I get my Zuggy? . . . Motoring of course!!!!

Have fun and just get used to your wife rolling her eyes at you just for looking like you're going to say something!

 

The OBVIOUS! Start picking a name, you only have 2 (not 9) months!

 

Well, I'm the wife and let me tell you, husbands are great at giving that look too and congrats on your soon to be new car!

I actually did start thinking of names last night...got some of the above mentioned eyerolls from the hubs
