Newbies! From RI

Hey everyone, Finally decided to say hi after registering a few weeks back. My names Amanda, but my boyfriend Nick uses the forum as well so we are both saying hello. Im from Rhode Island and drive a liquid yellow R50 named Nigel. Ive been to a few local MINI meets and cruises and love the whole scene. Joined because im looking to do more with my Just-a-Cooper

including some possible autox if Nick is convincive enough.

Brilliant idea, I did them on 2 previous cars.

I have a black 'vert w/ tan leather on order. I won't get it 'til May.

I was thinking the yellow Hella's might do the business.

I didn't order the Mini rally lights because they only work w/ the High Beams.

Please let me know when you install.

I'd be most interested in istallation details, brackets, relays, can you operate w/ a factory switch. etc

The Hella's came with a full install kit, although the switch is not the prettiest. Was thinking about filling the empty slot on the switch panel with a similar switch for the 500s. As for the brackets for the lower grille, OUTMOTORING.com sells them for about $100.
