All this forum lexicon (i.e., newbie). I guess technically I'm not a newbie since I've been a member since 2006, but I've never really been all that active. I guess by 2006 I'd already had 3 years of experience with my first MINI and had enough friends with MINI's locally to be satisfied. Not to mention that those were the undergrad years. Which is weird that I have time to do this in grad school, since I have way less time. Maybe I was just lazy, or maybe I'm just ranting about it right now and I'm too lazy to hit the delete key.

After that... I'm getting my new R56 next week! Hoo ha! And since I'm probably going to be around here more often, I thought I'd introduce myself. So my name is Jared, and I'm addicted to MINI's. And as of next week, I'll have my second MINI! A brand spanking new 2009 Chili Red/Black Cooper S! As Jeremy Clarkson would say... it's SWEEEEEEEEEET!
