Colorado Newbie Here
Hello All
I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a week 39 waiting newbie. I have a Laser Blue MCS on the Isolde on its way over now. I am axiously awaiting delivery of my new baby!
A little about myself. I currently own a 1966 Old English White MGB, a 1966 Old English White MGB-GT, a 1973 Green Mallard MGB, and a 1976 Inca Yellow Triumph TR-6. I have also had a 1952 MG-TD and a 1969 Triumph GT-6 in the collection. I am a national concours judge for the North American MGB Register, the Chairman for the NAMGBR MG2009, MGs in Breckenridge national convention, I have been on the board of directores for the Colorado English Motoring Conclave for the past 10 years and am a past board member of the MGCC RMC's annual Rallye Glenwood Springs. I am a photography buff but do not really have time for other hobbies outside of the British Car world.
I am so looking forward to owning a 'modern car'!
I also hope to become a welcome and valued member of the MINI community.

Bob,
Welcome, don't forget to join MINI5280, if you have not already.
I like the color, what options did you get on the MCS. Post a picture when you get the opportunity.
You should be having some great MINI fun around the 1st week of November.
Don
I think we met at the Conclave, not 100% sure, I worked over the lunch hour with MINI5280.

Wow, what a nice collection...I've owned several of the same cars and wish I had a few of them now. My TR-6 was the same color with the overdrive, a roll bar, headers and a custom split exhaust. What great sounds they make!
My liquid yellow 03 MCS with a bunch of mods is just a blast.
You are going to love your new car
Congrats and welcome to Motoring

Thanks all
Shell I will not be able to make it tonight I have been out of town since the Conclave and have some stuff I need to take care of. But I will be hooking up with you all soon.
Old81 - it will have a white top and mirrors, the cold weather package, LSD and most of the sports package ala-cart. The Sports package was not available when I ordered. I am also getting the cloth/leather seats with the blue trim and the blueline interior. I decided against the panoramic roof options as I have 3 convertables and do not want to take too much time from their driving schedules.
Tmitty - yes the TR-6 is a wonderful sounding car and all of my old LBC's are a blast to drive. I have overdrive on all but the 66 roadster, and I wish it had it as well.
I drive all of the cars on a fairly regular basis to keep them 'fresh'. I drove the 73 MGB back to Valley Forge Pa this year for the national event. On return I thought about changing my name to Major Bumsore.
I am just getting anxious to drive a modern toy
