Hello from Belgium

Hello,

I am Ron from Belgium, owner of a Mini Cooper Diesel R56 since June 2007.
I really like the car a lot.

I came across North American Motoring, by Googling around to find the best way to install a portable GPS into the Mini R56.
My second hobby is Garmin GPS's, my first one is of course the Mini ;-)

I am closely evaluating:
- the mini nuvi360 installation (behind the tacho meter, on your left side)
- the kuda installation next to (left side) the large speedometer.

The nuvi360 will soon be replaced by Garmin, by a model without flippable antenna. However, seeing that most portable GPS systems are all widescreen, then I think that the location next (left) to the tachometer is not ideal , as you can not view the complete GPS screen.

I've seen very nice pictures of the Kuda installation on this forum.
I'll make a decision anyhow in the coming weeks, and post pictures of the solution.

Greetings to this great forum

Ron
from Belgium

I will keep you posted on my decision.
