Anyone else on the Caribbean Highway that left Southhampton on 15 Aug 08? It is due into Charleston SC on the 27th and my MINI is on it.

 

Hello, I believe my MINI is on the Caribbean Highway. I had to deduce this. I'm not listed on any WW ship, and the Owner's Lounge indicates that the car is en route. I think the C.H. is the only ship that left Southampton in the past week going to Charleston, SC. I hope I'm correct. Still hoping to get confirmation from my MA.

8/21 - Received confirmation from my MA that I am indeed on the Caribbean Highway! Great news... now, where is that ship?

 

Just like PhantomMC, I believe I'm on the Caribbean Highway as well. My MA has not gotten back to me (vacation?). Hoping to be driving my lil' guy the first week of Sept. Am I being a little optimistic?

Got a call from my MA today, he wanted to make an appointment for 10am Saturday to pick up my MINI provided all goes well.

The Dealership is only about 15 miles from the VDC

A couple more days and we'll be in Charleston!

 

I'm jealous...my MINI will not be in CHS until 8/31 so may not be unloaded until after labor day. Good news that it will only take a few days from unloading to get through VDC to the dealership...that means I should be able to get mine by the next Saturday!

OK i found it, even had a sat. image of what was supposed to be the Caribbean Highway.

Saturday - how cool is that!! I am also on CH, so I was hoping next week to be driving and based upon your Saturday date I should be able to do that!!

I'm very interested to know if you are still picking up your car on Saturday. That would be VERY fast from unloading today to the dealership in 2 days...even for Century MINI.

 

Just talked to the MA about 11am, and my MINI is on a train headed for Greer (VDC).
We are still looking at Saturday for delivery, at the very least we will take care of the paperwork, but I will be suprised if it is ready. Any way you cut it..............it wont be long

 

Thanks KCinBR. If your MINI is on the train to Greer, then I assume all of our MINIs that came off the CH are on that train. I'm hoping to have mine (in Ohio) by the end of next week. Plan to call my MA next Tuesday to see where we stand. I hope he can project when it will be delivered to the dealership.
