Hi all. new to the board, but have been following MINIs from day one (I actually waited for an hour to drive a S the day the dealer opened on '02). I have always loved them, but could never quite figure out how one would fit in with my other toys ('64 Porsche 356C, '94 Land Rover Defender, '07 Wrangler 4 door). Recently my wife's Beetle decided to start doing some funky things, and we decided to get into something else.
The perfect opportunity... We were planning to get into a MCSC, but my wife found a little red Cooper that she fell in love with, so we thought we would ease $$$ into the MINI experience. '03 Cooper red/white, white '16 wheels, sunroof, stripes. I thought I would be disappointed in the Cooper after driving a couple of S's, but she really scoots! An MCSC is in our future, but we will play with this Cooper for a while.
I will do some searches, but have already had issues with pass. window, drivers door (not opening), and power steering noise.
