There's a K-Line leaving Southampton on Oct 3rd- tomorrow. It's the Western Highway.
One thing to note, most of the K-Line seem to go from Bremerhaven to Southampton then across the pond, whereas the Sierra Nevada Hghwy went Southampton to Bremerhaven, then across the pond.
So don't panic... and start harrassing your MA
Best of luck and can't wait to hear that you & everyone in this group is on a boat and puddle jumping!
Vivi

I was definitely not on a ship last Friday and MV Fedora is the first vessel to call the port since the 23rd. Hopefully we'll get some good news today.

Jen, You have a lovely singing voice. I can see my clubbie swaying in the sea breeze.

Why, thank you. Imagine it with a sad, dirgelike quality.

Draik, I guess I bought a girl car because I imagine she's sitting next to Naz singing in the saddest country voice..."Stand by your man...."....

I hope she doesn't have big country hair!

Guys, guys, get a hold of yourselves! You are talking crazy now! Let's just focus on getting those boats over here and get the "keys" in your hand!

New to the Forum - en route

I'm new to this forum - but I've been reading it a while. My baby (BB) was completed with this forum week but just today was finally listed as en route. I can't see it on the WW line of ships - so I have to assume it went somewhere else. Wish I could track my baby across the Atlantic.

I have a Mini Cooper in Lightening Blue coming - manual with racing strips.

DooBahDoo, since your in Nashville you and Vivi need to join us on the Dragon this year. Jen, I know it would be more of a drive for you but we have people form all over the country come. It's the first weekend in May. This will be the seventh year and it just keeps getting better! I've been every year since '03. 318 turns in 11 miles!!!

Well I just called and had someone pull a report on Duncan. He definitely is still sitting at the port. I just don't understand.

A car is a car no matter how small. C'mon Draik, Minirose, Izzy and Doobahdoo - shout with me as loud as you can "We Are Here, We Are Here, We Are Here, We Are Here!!!"

Oh Draik, I would give my eye teeth to be there. Unfortunately, the first weekend in May is busy for me every year. I work for an orchestra.

Draik, I'm there with you...if I have my car by then... Have you heard any news?

I just spoke to the manager at Mini Nashville. He said for the first time in his career production is ahead of information. He said he's had cars show up at his dealership that the system still shows at port/pending transport...makes no kind of sense to me...

Confused

I was just told that my Mini "is now at the port of exit in Germany". I am not sure what this means. I thought they left from England.

Draik, Jen, and Mini Rose...I got the bad news that my MINI is still showing at port after MV Fedora sailed, and no news on the 2w tracking site...so unless there's an un-funny comedy of errors I've been left behind again.

Cheer up Doo, the Western Highway is about to pull into Southampton, and will arrive at Charleston only two days behind the Fedora.

Just got the call from the MA. My mini is set to arrive at the dealer in Annapolis either tomorrow or Saturday. We are doing the financials and scheduling the pick up time tomorrow, but it looks like I should be motoring by next weekend!!

I'm starting to have doubts about the promised 3rd week of October arrival and handover of "Jackson" to me. I'm not too excited about the financial situation either these days. Banks don't fail me now......

My VIN is memorized. It's sort of twisted and sad.

I am so sorry for all of you guys who are stuck at the docks waiting on a ship. That just stinks. My baby is still held up at the VDC and won't get to my dealer until Monday, so Sat. is a no go for me to pick her up. It is looking like Tuiesday if she arrives early on Monday morning, or more likely Thursday when I have the day off. Man, I really wanted to be be motoring on Saturday :-(

Draik, I'm not counting on getting my car before Christmas. I figure if I take that approach maybe I can act surprised and pleased when it gets here with a big red or green bow on top. My dealership's homecoming is October 25th and the Motoring Manager there told me I might have it before then. Ugh!
How are you holding up?

Hanging in there. Just checked and the Western Highway is docked. Hopefully I'll be "haze gray and underway" tomorrow!!!
