Week 38 Support Group
I AM REALLY GETTING TIRED OF THE MINI 866 LINE. I CAN CALL AND IT SAYS I AM SITTING ON THE PORT WAITING FOR A SHIP & THEN I CAN CALL BACK LATER THAT DAY IT SAYS I AM IN TRANSIT? I CAN CALL BACK 5 MINUTES LATER AND IT MIGHT SAY ONE OF THOSE TWO THINGS? ANYBODY ELSE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS WITH THE 866 LINE???
i feel your pain
just today it finally sais i was at port waiting for a ship....
its been completed fro a week and a half
ive e-mailed and called my ma
and have heard nothing i hope this car is better quality then the people backing it .....
Just spoke to my MA and confirmed that we are on the Patriot, arriving in NYC on Monday. He said that it is only the S models that have been getting held up at the VDC for EPA issues, and since mine is a JustaClubman, I can expect it to move quickly through the VDC to the dealer....he said there is even a chance that I will be able to pick her up on Saturday 10/4
If not, sometime early the next week (I have no dealer installed options). Woo HOO! I am really hoping this next week goes well and quickly.

Hi Everyone-
I've finally found the call sign for Sierra Nevada Hwy... 3EIO4
When I pulled up the AIS tracker, SNH hadn't called in a position, so it couldn't be tracked... but it's worth keeping an eye on it- especially with a hurricane on the East Coast. Icky

DooBahDoo, I was checking the WW schedule and there might be another posibility. The Tampere is currently in Bremerhaven, probably picking up some BMW's, then is due in Southampton on the 30th, and Savannah on the 13th. Otherwise the best we can hope for is the Fedora in Southampton on the 1st and Charleston on the 14th or the Western Highway in Southampton on the 3rd and Charleston on the 16th.
Draik, Thanks for the update. I've got family in town and we've been running non-stop. I didn't realize we had a 10/1 option...that's good news. I'm really glad I don't have any options to hold it up at the VDC. Do you have any VDC add-ons? Seems like there's been a lot of delays there. I'm dying thinking the car is just sitting dockside in some parking lot getting cobwebs in the injectors...lol Keep me posted if you hear anything & I'll do the same. Guess all we can do is wait & hope.

I will have a 2-4 day wait for the JCW aero kit install depending on how things according to my MA. I was at the dealership yesterday and there was no update, but he promised me to keep an eye on things and update me as soon as he has any information and I will be sure to pass on any thing I find out.
How long prior to a ship's departure before you guys got cargo info on the WW site? I've been sitting since the 19th and 2 days before Fedora's Oct 1st departure, I still have no booking information. My MA doesn't know about the ships, etc. Just whether it's sitting or on a ship.

There was a hold up in Southampton due to the weather. When all the Hurricanes were coming thru, the ships weren't leaving port- at least that is what my MA told me. So there really IS a big line up of cars on that side of hte pond. I would, though, double check to see if you're on a K-Line. Only your MA or someone at the dealership can tell you that.
BEst of luck-

MA told me I was at the port awaiting ship on the 25th so I'm pretty sure I'm not on the K-line. I'm hoping I would show up on the WW site since that's the next ship leaving(Oct 1st Fedora). It's just irking me cause I don't think I'll get it by 3rd week of Oct as planned. :(
Patriot
tintman, how did you find out the Patriot has docked other than the scheduled arrival date? The last position I could find was on Saturday off of the Gulf of Maine. I hope they missed the storm and the ride wasn't too rough! They're supposed to arrive in Charleston on the fourth.
Wow, it's amazing how quickly things change on the old WW tracking info page - even though according to their updated schedule the Fedora is not at Southampton quite yet - apparently they've begun booking in the MINIs, already!
Gaffer, I believe you should just go on to the WW page http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/ and check out the ship via your VIN#, and then click on the Voyage link - if I'm not mistaken.

Could everyone on this thread update their profiles to include a general location so we can has some idea of our schedules in relation to location.
for example , my Location is Mission, KS. If I know my car takes 2 days from port to dealer (I don't know that for sure unfortunately) , then someone else in my area can assume that as well by looking at my location in the upper right corner there.
Just a suggestion! I won't come to your house or anything! Unless you invite me for dinner or something

Noooo, tell me it ain't so. My VIN isn't pulling up anything. Tell me they're not done with all bookings yet. :(
Oh, I bet they're just getting started and since I live in the NY metro area, perhaps it's a "first in, first out" kind of booking process for loading order? I'm just guessing here. Don't worry, the Fedora is a fine ship. Try to control yourself and check back in later on tonight maybe? As I said, it only takes one time to finally find what you're looking for.
Well, that could be possible but I'm hoping I'm on the Fedora since K-line ships later. Although, there will be 3 ships(WW and Kline total) that are leaving within the same week. I would be sitting for almost 2 weeks on Oct 1st. x.x
It's possible...things are happening everyday!! My MA is out of the country right now, so I'm trying to suck it up. The more time that passes, the closer he'll be. I'm hoping I get that surprise phone call much earlier that I am letting myself expect it.

Does anyone know what is the holdup with the 2009 S? What is different from the 08 S to cause a problem? Maybe just routine testing?
Hey, if you want to drive to the NY metro area, you are more than welcome to come over for dinner.
