OTELLO can now be tracked. The last position still had her close to the UK but she's moving in the right (or should I say "left") direction.

 

OTELLO's getting close to "midpoint". Hope our babies aren't partying too hard so they'll be in good shape when they get to us.

 

Good luck! My little one didn't make the OTELLO, and I believe he's departing today on the FIGARO. Ship's at the dock now; and should be in NYC by 7/26. Enjoy your new car! What did you order? What color and accessories? I ordered MCSa with laser blue/white, convenience,sport and premium pkgs, leatherette, and chrome in/out. Can't wait!!!

By the way, not that you're going to purchase a second Mini but something to keep in mind:

On another thread a Mini of Annapolis customer who later purchased a second Mini got $1200 off his purchase price.

OTELLO's should be entering Halifax harbor anytime now. Halifax has some webcams but none with a good shot of where OTELLO will be docking. Anybody tracking her another way?

The schedule shows OTELLO arriving in Halifax at 1800 on 22 JUL. It should already be docked though. I wish there was a webcam at the Autoport.

 

As of 0840 EDT the Otello is shown on the Halifax site as being in port, with an estimated time of departure of 1630 (4:30 pm) today. Presumably the time of departure is local. Nova Scotia, I believe, is on Atlantic time, which is one hour later than Eastern.

 

That should put OTELLO arriving at NY Harbor sometime Thursday morning. I wonder if the VDC is going to be open this weekend? If not I wouldn't expect MINI's leaving the VDC until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest.

 

Not sure which VDCs are open on weekends, and which are not.

Hopefully the Otello doesn't get too banged up by Cristobal on her way to NYC out of Halifax.

 

I called the VPC in Jersey, and the voicemail system said their normal hours are 6a-2:30p M-F. The Port H tour noted that that particular one pulls weekend hours when needed. I suspect NJ is the same.

 

Well, OTELLO has left Halifax and is heading to New York. Hopefully she can slip by Cristobal.

I heard that if there are enough "presold" Mini's arriving the VDC will open on weekends. Hope the OTELLO is full to the gills with MINI's!

 

How do you know it left Halifax ?

 

At the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website under "schedule" go to "vessel" and type in OTELLO. It shows all the ports OTELLO has been to and is going to. Those ports in "RED" are the one's she's already been to and those ports in "BLACK" are the one's she still has to go to. Halifax is showing red.
