Thanks. Hopefully I will make it in. Does anyone know when the Otello sails?

Come on, lads! You can cram it in there!

The WW site didn't find my car by VIN, but I located by reviewing the cargo for the booking number between Southampton and NY (thanks to whoever posted that in the week 28 group!)

(Think I went too far with the "lads" thing? I did it in a fake Ringo Starr accent. I bet they see right through it.)
Not at all! Perhaps the "lads" can squeeze in two more!!!

This site - http://www.ais-live.co.uk/AIS%20Live...uthampton.html reflects the Otello's status as now being underway, whereas previously it was shown as being moored. A couple of quick checks show the heading changing, but the speed at zero knots. This suggests that it has finished loading, that it is being maneuvered out of its mooring, preparatory to bringing up power and heading out into the Channel.

Okay, per this site http://www.ais-live.co.uk/AIS%20Live...uthampton.html the Otello is now beginning to show a speed, and the graphic reflects a vector ahead of her. I believe the Otello has set sail.

It's left. It should cross this webcam soon.

Sorry to hear that. Thanks, though, for the tip on the web cam. Have it up in another window so I can do a screen capture at the appropriate time.

If I can get a clean capture and can figure out how to upload it, I'll do so.

It looks like I got left behind also How soon does the Figaro leave?
Is there anyway to be sure that we are still on the dock?

OTELLO's heading out to open sea. Hopefully everybody is showing "loaded" but if not the next ship departs on the 18th.

Mine still shows as booked on Otello, but nothing yet about being loaded. At least there's still some hope it's on there, I guess!

has to be THE most used emoticon on NAM! I don't know, miniglenn. I think that's the indicator that most have used for "left behind." I don't know if there's a particular status for "bumped." I, too, seem to be stalled at "Received at Terminal."

Good job, Reprobate! (now there's a oxymoronic sentence.) Love the screen caps.

Neophyte Here

I have to admit - I don't know much and maybe you cannot help a lame new member. I ordered my MCSa on 6/30, and OL reports it finished production and it's in transit. ASK MINI rep tells me all he knows is that as of 7/12, it's headed for South Hampton docks to ship. I am in production week 28, that's all I know. The ASK MINI rep couldn't tell me things like port location. My MA at Tate MINI has not responded to my email inquiry yet, but maybe I should give him some time. He's been great so far. Any advice to get info on my baby? I am in Arlington, VA.

LaserSpeeder - read the part in Section 4 that begins with "WW provides a great website..."

Go there and plug in your VIN and see if you're at the port and/or booked and/or loaded on a ship. You can get your VIN at the Owner's Lounge on www.miniusa.com

Well I finally figured it out and I think I am SO lucky! I ordered my MCSa on Jun30, and it was delivered to the dock Saturday 7/13. Now it's on the OTELLO along with you guys! Can't wait for it to arrive in NY/NJ. That was much faster than I thought it would be.

LaserSpeeder,

Our Mini's should be arriving at the dealership on the same truck. My MA at Annapolis Mini is Brian Horan.

Brian

Yes, Brian is my MA and he's a great MA. I don't know if I made the boat though, because it departed and i am not shown as loaded. I guess another ship is coming soon.

Great catch with the webcam shots. I was trying to do the same thing, but by the time the webcam came up, I was staring at her wake.

Oh well, the important thing is that it's on it's way with a whole bunch Minis in her belly, with mine being one of them.

Just checked and my little new one is scheduled on the FEDORA, departing Sthhampton on 7/21, arriving NY 7/31. So, not too much longer! Considering I ordered it on 6/30, it received an early production number and was built by 7/12. It'll be here in no time.

I ordered a MCSa 08 | sport/premium/convenience | chrome in/out | anthracite liner | black leatherette / laser blue | crown spoke 17" alloys

When I go to pick my baby up I'll ask Brian to put a "rush" on yours when it comes in.

I am on the Fedroa as well. Considering I ordered two weeks earlier than you did my patience is not as good as yours . Nonetheless it is still on schedule to be delivered by the middle of August which is what my MA promised so I guess I cannot complain. (But I will anyway)
