Greetings all! New kid on the block here, for a short time anyway. I'm Bill and got a used 05 Cooper a few months ago. It's a "Thoroughly Modern Mini" at least with respect to the dry and wet ones from long ago. Actually it's pretty plain Jane except for a glass roof (radiant heat?). Found this list in an attempt to repair a loose door latch cable. Tore it apart and then reality hit. What did you just do? You'll never get this back together and will have to use a rope to open the door. Thanks to info from other members the project seems doable. It's repaired, now all I need is a couple medium sized hammers and some duct tape to glue it back together. (not really). Thanks group! I owe you already.
