For those whose car went on the Emden (which doesn't have a support thread, for some strange reason!), you'll be happy to know your car is being unloaded today. Here is the current vessel report:

So, for those of you who have gone through this, a couple of quick questions:

1. On Average, how long does it take to get the cars from the ship to the VDC?

2. For those of you who live in Texas, or surrounding areas, what is the realistic range where I might hope to see my car? I know, there will be all sorts of things that can slow it down, but give me some hope here!

I was on the Emden as well, K-line doesn't nearly have the following that the WW ships have. Good to hear mine wasn't alone, I am in Texas as well, and heard ~7 days to dealership.

 

On the Emden as well!! Can't believe that our babies are finally on US soil!!!
I'm in Memphis and my MA said Tuesday the 15 would be the most likely date to pick her up. Order 6/5, and they expected delivery 1st week of August then, so it seems she's gonna be REALLY early!! YEAH!!

I was also on the Emden. Mine is being shipped to Nashville. The sales manager said I should have the car by Friday. It is now Thursday and I have not heard anything else from the dealership. Hopefully they will call soon saying it will be in for sure on Friday.

How disappointing!!!! I feel your pain!! Because that just means mine will probably be even later!!! ARGH!!!
I've been forced to tool around town in a loaner Malibu and can't WAIT until I can drive around in something that will fit in its TRUNK!!!

 

Mine just arrived this morning. I should take delivery either later tonight or most likley 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Well, just got a call from my MA, and the truck with my car should arrive early next week (Mon - Wed), so I should take delivery by Friday at the latest. I'm already planning a road trip next weekend!

Already detailed her twice and mother nature had the audacity to rain on her yesterday!!

 

Very much in love. I got it last Friday and in a week I've already put 1100 miles on it! Fast, fun to drive, economical, and sexy as hell! I've washed it twice and do a nightly wipe-off/quick detail also.

I feel your pain about the rain. I was somewhere with a friend yesterday and it started raining, and all I could think about was getting my car back home and safely in the garage!

She went on her first long motoring trip...to New Orleans!! But when we got back...a hole in her tire!!! I had to plug a stupid runflat!!! I realize that she's now runnig with a limp, but didn't have $300 on me but the $12 plug fee didn't break me!!
