I'm between weeks 31 and 32 and was just wondering how you find out about what ship your MINI is going to be on. I'm in the paint shop phase of my MCS, but looking forward to tracking the shipping, etc.

 

Just found out that my Mini is done with production and on the way to Southampton!!!

There's no way to know which ship you're on for sure until it's booked. But you can make educated guesses based on the schedules posted in that thread.

Nothing for me yet. I'm going to call ASK-MINI later today and see if they have more info, though...

 

Hi everyone!! We were originally told Week 32 for production, but just found out from ASK-MINI that we are in production this week. Soon to be born... Big Surprise - but a good one. Guess that makes us OFFICIALLY Week 31! I'll be checking-in on a regular basis...

 

OK I am at the Port of exit. So should find out about a ship anytime.

Awesome Jokell I'm still waiting checked and nothing yet, the Sierra Highway and the INTEGRITY are docking today to pick up and I'll still be sitting there tomorrow night.

 

Well at 3 am I am officially on the INTEGRITY. Unfriggin believable one step closer. CHEERS

 

Well I am officially in production week 31 (was week 32). Production started July July 29 and I am moved up to complete by Aug 3rd.. but it looks like a lot of week 31'ers are already catching the ship!! Who is still in production here?

 

Called this AM and I'm in the paint shop. Estimated birthday was Aug 2nd, so I guess I'm on track!! Will be headed for the Charleston port so I hope that I can track him along the way and he isn't out of touch on the K line.

I checked to see if I'm on the Integrity but my VIN doesn't show up. Hopefully I'm on the Sierra Nevada Highway. Bon voyage!

 

I am trying to figure out what ship my baby will be on! If it is completed on the 3rd or 4th (phone says the 4th) it won't make the ship going out on the 4th with W&W - next ship going out will be on the 9th - the INDEPENDENCE II.

I am not figuring out how to see the dates with Kline. Ship leaving Southampton docks and arriving at Charleston, SC or Brunswick, GA ? Can anyone help me with seeing the date any ship will leave August 4 or later?

 

Since you're in Florida you will enter port in Brunswick, Georgia. No K-Line ships stop there. The next WW ship, the Elektra, leaves August 5th for Brunswick. According to the schedule it should arrive on August 20th.

 

Samart, wonder what my chances are of getting on the ship *if* my Mini isn't finished until Monday - the 4th?

Dealer told me they get their cars from both Charleston and Brunswick ports... can you tell if K-Line stops there? I can't figure out that chart!!

 

Hmmm... Tinker, it looks like we may end up sharing a ride, even though I have a slightly later birthday! ...but... I get off the boat first!

 

The K-Line ship Western Highway leaves Southampton August 8th and arrives in Charleston August 21st.

 

My MC made it from completion to the ship in a single day, so it *IS* possible.

 

Man, this sucks.

I was completed on Tuesday (7/29), but I still have no scheduled ship date.

Since I have missed the Sierra Nevada, and will most likely miss the Integrity, I can only hope that I make one of the 3 ships leaving next week. If I don't, the next ship to depart from Southampton (going to Charleston) is the Caribbean Highway, leaving on the 15th. :(

Ech. I don't wanna wait that long.

 

RELDIEH you weren't on the INTEGRITY? Call your MA and see if you got put on the Sierra Highway (K-Line). Two ships left today.

 

I called him about 2 hours ago. He said my status still showed, "Completed but no ship date."

I am disappointed. A little sad even.

 

Reldieh, gee - I feel your pain! I too would be disappointed! I looked up the Independence and it said leaving on the 9th..?
