My MA told me. They did not hold back, threaten me, ask for money, or anything of the sort.

I just asked. They gave me the ship name and ETA. But I also tried the various links here to search the ship using my VIN and got nowhere. So I can only go by what the MA told me.

They've been really good through the process. I went to the dealer 3 times, test drove twice, and they even brought one to my office so I could drive the roads I know best. I do work in the auto parts business and we do a good bit with Porsche, BMW, and some Mini, so they knew me, though they have a really good rep regardless.

MiniZonker, My MA isn't in till Saturday so no confirmation till then. I deal with Charlie there, very informative. So let's keep our fingers crossed so were motoring on the 4th.

 

My MA isnt answering the phone today. I need answers. I need to know if ive left, when ill leave, when ill arrive, when ill drive home.

 

I test drove at Hendrick in Charlotte too! They were soooo busy the day I drove that I walked around the lot for about 45 minutes before anyone asked me if I needed help and didn't have any available MAs to test drive with me. There were a bunch of the local Mini Club members hanging around though and they were letting them take people on test drives. Haha, talk about unpaid employee!

The club member that drove with me was great and knew all sorts of cool stuff about the cars I drove, probably more than the paid employees even.

 

Its not often that you yearn for the weekend to be over when its friday night.

No it never does....but my wife is in the same boat with yours (again pun intented) Everytime my phone alerts me to a new email on this thread, I run to the computer. I think she's at the point that she almost wishes it was another women.

In related news, I got mini mail today. Several weeks ago I went to an old defunct mini website and signed up for some adventure toggles. (They are stickers that you can place over you toggles switches) It was part of an add campaign that they did back in 2006. I wasnt sure if they would still send it, but my son came in today and proudly announced we had mini mail. The stickers say things like "ejector seat, smoke screen, oil slick and photon cannons" He (and I) think its pretty darn cool. Haha, yeah, my OL status also changed to "At Distribution Center" sometime between 10am yesterday and now.
