Hello NAM

Hi everyone,

New member here, trying to learn as much as I can about MINIs. Hoping to buy a JCW one day to replace my white '01 Corolla as my daily driver. I also currently have an Alpine White '05 M3, and a member of the M3Forum.net community. Too bad MINIs doesn't come in Alpine White, so I'm still somewhat undecided to which color I would get.

Welcome! I just took delivery of my Pepper White MCS, and I absolutely love him. The color is kind of like French Vanilla ice cream . . . . .and thoroughly yummy! Cheers.

Welcome JusBL@zE. I have a DS/B but I really love how a PW MINI looks. You might also want to see how Sparkling Silver looks but it is no white.

Okay JusBL@zE, confession time, what is your real world MPG experience with MPG on the Corolla.

Regardless, welcome and hope the JCW comes to you soon.

Sparkling Silver looks lovely and occasionally tough. How far off is alpine white from pepper white. Anyone got swatches for comparison?

Welcome JusBL@ZE!

I agree with Peaches611! PW is awesome! But then again, I'm biased.

Aloha and welcome to NAM.

Get a MINI, paint it Alpine white- either whole or in portion.
You'll be unique since the closest will be a pepper white MINI.

Welcome. PW with a black roof and mirrors is an awesome combo, and nicely works with the black trim along the bottom of the MINI. Friend of mine just got PW/B and absolutely loves it.

A cool creamy color, PW.

my MPG on my Corolla is around 34 MPG since I work pretty far from home, and have to commute by highway. However, its pretty boring to drive. I always wanted to get a MINI as a daily driver since it has good MPG with the fun factor.

I thought about getting it painted Alpine White, but I am not sure I would want to do that if I buy a brand new car

Thanks for all the suggestions! I was thinking about the DS/B combo since I will be parking this car outside the garage. Dust, combined with foggy evening/morning is not a best friend of a white car. But I would love to match the mini with my M3

Welcome. Buy the pepper white, drive it like you stole it, and when the time comes and it's out of warranty - paint it alpine white.
