Nope! It's just us poor saps trying to work out ETAs of our MINIs...

Quote: Yes, I believe that's right. It's a bit confusing on my browser, as the "Cargo ID" box is way to the right of the label.

And no, mine doesn't come up yet. Still waiting for it to be recognized.
You are doing it correctly. Mine came up a day before departure on the Topeka.

How long did it take you to get from Oxford to Southampton then onto the ship?

I was lucky. "Born" on 10/22---to the dock on 10/23 and shipped out on 10/25. Showed up on the ww site on 10/24. Got to Port Hueneme today as scheduled.

It is only 60 miles to the dock. You have a good chance of making the ship.

Somewhat apprehensive about the info in the "build time" process portion. According to the MINI manufacturing
*click on "video"* painting the shell is one of the FIRST steps and assembly is the LAST. However, the OP says paint is on day 7-8........who to believe.....

Sounds right. After paint they assemble the car. Most of time in the build cycle is upfront...getting everything...parts ready for the build. It really only takes about three to four days to do body, paint and assembly.

MAZZA:

Any updates to the tracking on your end? The WW website seems to not like my VIN. Did yours work?

No. As far as I know, I am still sitting at Bremerhaven. My car has been there since 11/8 and has so far not been loaded on to 3 different ships that have left for Port Hueneme. Two different ships that left 11/10, and Bess that left earlier today 11/18. My VIN has never worked in WW's web site.

It's a very frustrating limbo. I'm wondering if there is a problem somewhere, or this is somewhat normal. Have asked for a status report from my MA but haven't heard anything back yet.

Ours is still sitting at the dock, too. We were hoping for the Bess, but our MA said yesterday that we still didn't have a ship assignment. :-( So unless he is not current, we will be waiting still.

Yup, 11/29, so provided that's correct figure 2 days at the VDC, 1 day for transport I should take delivery 12/3 - 12/5.

I live in Mississippi right now and my dealership is in Louisiana.
My Mini started production on 11/14 with an estimated birthday of 11/22.

Q: Will my Mini come through port Brunswick, GA? (that's the closest one to Louisiana)

Q: Will my Mini make the 11/25 departure out of Southampton?

I pulled a vessel schedule from the WW website for Brunswick, GA:
Origin Port Departure Destination port Arrival Vessel Voyage Transit (Days) Booking

There's a good chance you'll be on the Turandot.

Ask MINI and my MA didn't have the info, so I plugged my VIN into the WW site, and it showed the ship. You can try Ask MINI or your MA, but if they don't have it, try your VIN anyway, when the ship has been loaded.

Thanks JoanieB, thanks Amacuso

I really hope my Mini can make the Turanbot on 11/25. I'm car less right now so everyday sucks. But going from car less to having a Mini JCW may be too big of a jump. That's too much excitement for anyone to handle. lol. I'm so ready.

I hear you totally.... Check the WW site daily, it should def. be listed by 11/25 if it's going to be on there.

Right...check the WW site daily, NOT hourly; otherwise, you'll drive yourself nuts!

Remember, once the ship is beyond the English Channel, you won't be able to track it until it gets closer to US eastern seaboard (think high seas pirates, mateys, arrgh!).
