heronsilver- I got to port in NY on the 20th and am the MINI is still there according to the latest from my MA :(

 

Finally heard from my MA. It's at the dealer's but they're still waiting for the paperwork to come through... If it came in today's courier pack (he didn't know yet) I could have Prescott on Monday! Worst case it should be later next week. They're supposed to let me know later tonight.

 

i was flipping around Google Earth today, pretending to work, and i wondered where Manzanillo was.. and it's on an island Southwest of the canal on the Pacific side. Very confused now..

i wonder if that was actually Eternal Clipper.

 

I assumed the ship would be stopping at Manzanillo International Terminal, which is on the Atlantic side.

That's not Eternal Clipper which has a lower level deck at the bow.

 

okay, yeah, i didn't think i'd be Clipper, but i was hoping Chorus was already steaming (dieseling??) her way up the coast towards us.

thanks for clearing up the Manzanillo thing, i thought it was refering to the island town.

I can't believe I perfected the whole screenshot setup and AVG ruined everything. It's never actually done that (worked) in the year I've had this system.

i kid. i kid. 70% of my coworkers live in the 909, and 1/2 of them have lifted trucks and wonder why I would get such a small car.

 

<< 909'er too, although i am on the extreme west of the 909 so I don't think that counts! "only" another week till they hit the port!

 

I'm west 909 - Rancho Cucamonga. No lifted trucks for me.
A 400 HP Trailblazer SS for my wife, a 400 HP Camaro SS for me, and a 450 HP '67 Camaro SS for my son. Oh, and a 635 HP Corvette ZR1 on order.

I'm farther west 909 (San Dimas) No lifted truck for me either, but my expedition does have bigger tires on it and 4 wheel drive so I almost fit the profile

 

The Port Hueneme ship arrival schedule was updated today. The Chorus is still due to arrive the afternoon of 7/3. There are no ships bringing in cars for a couple of days before the 3rd. I hope that means they can process our shipment quickly. On the other hand it's the July 4 weekend....

 

Perhaps if they touch US soil on or before July 4th they won't be seen as illegal aliens / invaders from Britain attempting to suppress us Colonials?

 

Coral Leader has a huge load of M3s on board, and arrives Jul 1.

Hi All,

I am a new member here and I also have a DSMCS onboard the Asian Chorus. I have been very lucky concerning my MINI timing. I originally walked into the dealership and purchased a LBMCS with black stripes and roof, sports package, etc. My wife liked the MINI so much that she now has it and I re-ordered a DSMCS w/white on 5/30/08, born on 6/11/08 (my birthday), and made the AC in-time to sail on 6/12/08. Must be fate.....hope the dock workers don't strike.
