It's awfully quiet on this thread. We must all be lounging with images of the kid's playing shuffle board or sipping claret on the deck chairs as they watch the waves roll by.

Skeeter's been amissing for a few days, I think he might be holed up with a topless mini in his room...

I cannot find the Asian Chorus anywhere, so I think I'll be lounging with the other Week 23ers on our other thread and fill it up with posts to make it the #1 thread in the 1st gear forum..

From the vesseltracker.com: "The current position is not available because the vessel is not in one of our covered regions at the moment."

I think Peewee's being a good boy and is just up on the top deck watching the day pass by...

Just listed my Alero on Craigslist. Kind of makes me sad although I can't wait for the MINI... does anyone have any idea on when the ship will arrive in NY?

Yea, I just fixed my radio two nights ago...

I'll be doing a quick detail on the interior, just straightening some things up tomorrow... I might give it a final waxing too...

I kinda do need my car for the next two weeks, but whatever, I'll get by without it. I have a bicycle...

Got quite a few e-mails already, looks like it might sell quick...

My boss wants to buy my civic for her daughter. I am going to take the path of least resistance and sell it to her. Anybody want to give me a quote on a 2000 Civic DX with 67K. It has been well maintained-oil changes every 3 to 4K, and it has new tires, struts and brakes. I told her that Kelly Blue Book had it as around $7,000 as a private party sale. I would give it to her for less. What do you think the bottom line should be?

I just recently got my girl a 98 civic EX coupe with 46k miles for $6400.

I wouldn't go much lower then $5500, i guess it all depends on how much of a raise you want at the end of the year....

I decided I might as well keep my Alero... it will be good to just have the extra car.. the hubby may need it every now and then.. so why not... trade in it is not worth much... too much hassle to try to sell....

get some pictures up there!! I really think that's what's selling my car.

I got someone to come look at it today... this is gonna suck because I'll be out of a car until July 7th, when I pick up a moving truck to drive across the country.

it'll be a sad sad day to see my accord drive away without me in it.

I'm not married so there is no reason (or money) to keep two cars. The Mini will be my daily driver rain, snow and ice!

Same here.

Are you going to be getting snow tires? I plan on driving up to the mountains from Seattle quite a bit, so I think I'm going to get a set. I'm just going to put them on the stock s-winders after I buy myself a nice set of wheels.

dwf137- I really will miss my Alero too, I know the MINI will certianly soften that blow but I have had this car for 5 years and have really grown fond of it, it has served me well, lots of road trips and memories BUT.... many more to come in our Mini's!
And YES... I was supposed to take pictures last night and ended up making potato salad for two hours, there is a lot of prepping and cutting involved for that! Then again.... selling car vs. potato salad....

The MA talked me into getting the all-seasons - which unfortunetly meant I couldn't get the stock wheels I had picked out an had to go with the standard ones but he made a point that unless I am ready to drop $500 on winter tires pretty soon then I should get the all-seasons... I have a buddy who works at Discount Tire that priced me out and such, def. something I plan on doing. Right now I live in an apartment= no room to store them BUT I am moving into a house (with a garage!!! Yay- moving up in the world ) next month- LOTS going on next month... new car, new home, new job possibly... and a week long vacation!
