Although I wouldn't have even looked twice at the Laser blue if there were a Jet Black option.

 

oh and I just got approved for my loan.... 4.74% for 66 months. Not bad considering that I'm 23, don't have a co-signer, just graduated college, and don't start working until August 1st. I guess keeping up on my credit card paid off....

I'm planning on paying it off in 60, but I got the extra 6 months added on because there was no rate penalty, and only increased the total amount paid by like 100 bucks or something... I figured it'd be nice to have the ability to stretch it and lower my payments if I'm in a bind...

Well guys, the sailing schedule on the WW site for the Asian Chorus is now in red which means it already left Port Hueneme. My status though still says "loaded on vessel". I wonder how long it takes 'til they update that..

The MINI website is usually about a week behind, in my experience. 866-MINIUSA is usually more up to date, but not by much.

All that matters to me is that Elton is in CA and will be truckin' to Tacoma in a few days...sooo close, but SO far away!

Got confirmation from my MA that the car is on land.

"It should take a couple of days before it is transfer to the final processing center once it gets there it should take about 3 to 4 day to get to our dealer."

 

Looked at my profile on the MINI Owner's lounge last night and it updated to "At Distribution Center" and the details showed my Estimated Delivery Date is July 8. [here's hoping!!]

 

My EDD is July 9th... They have quite a few things to install once it gets to the dealer, so we'll see. I'm not going to hold my breath. Am planning for the week of the 13th. If it's ready before then, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Don't know whose more excited...me to get Elton, or my husband so he doesn't have to hear about it anymore

Yeah I know what you mean. My actual ETA from my MA is July 18th, but production started on PeeWee a week earlier than expected. I'm just having the Sport Stripes installed there so I don't know how long they'll keep him there...
