Newbie here

Hello,

New member, new owner, first post...

We've (especially my wife) have admired the New Minis for the past number of years.

Besides seeing them domestically, we travel often to London, and the streets are filthy with cool Minis...

Anyway, this past Memorial weekend, we were fortunate to add a 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible to our stable

We've had the car for 5 days and have already rolled up 400 miles, the car is a blast...smiles all around...but of course, you know that already.

Spent some time last night reading tech articles, and I see there is a pulley, cai upgrade to boost the psi. I will review to see what the general populace thinks of this upgrade, as having done this with our 2008 GT500, (and liked the incredible results) I'd like to see the increased power in the Mini.

Here are pics of our new ride.

Thanx

Very nice Cabrio. Welcome to the club and may you enjoy yours MINI for many years to come.

I know what you mean about rolling up the miles. I drive my MINI .5 miles to work one way. That's two trips a day since I often go home for lunch. So that's about 12-15 trips a week since I'm often there briefly on weekends or in the evenings. But even at 15 trips a week, that's only 60 miles commuting per month, or only about 360 miles commuting in the six months I've owned her. The longest trip I've taken in MS MINIVER was about 250 miles roundtrip, so where did the other 5,640 miles in the last six months come from?
