Called askmini and they said that my baby is in the paint shop and is scheduled to be done may 14, that's tomorrow! That seems really fast though. Maybe i'll check again later to make sure it's the right info.

 

When I called Ask Mini yesterday they said *my* car was in the paint shop - and still quoted today as a finish date. However, I just called this morning and their records show that it is still in the paint shop...but going to be done today...

You can bet I'm calling this evening.

Hello my fellow week 20 group people

I'm very impress, I put in my order on 5/9 and production will be done on 5/15 . The guy from ASK MINI told me it should get here on the last week of June, that is not bad at all.

I was going to get a volvo before going with the Mini and the waiting time was about 3 months .

I'm so glad and happy I'm getting a custom Mini and even better that is getting here fast!

Mine is in the 'body shop' with a completion date of tomorrow. Now I'm hoping it finds a boat to catch a ride on this weekend! (or maybe it takes longer for that part)

 

Talked to Ask Mini earlier and...my car is finished! Just waiting her trip to the docks and the loooooong voyage *home*.

Seems as though MINI is a VERY efficient company.......gets done when they say it will be...........so far......knock on wood.

Mine still says 'in the paint shop' even though the completion date is/was today(5/14). I thought the wait might get easier after 3 1/2 weeks, but it's getting worse

Is it the website, the automated "Ask Mini" or a live person at Ask Mini that says this? The website is waaaaay behind, the automated seems to be a bit better but it really is best to talk to a person. Hang in there...

 

girlandhermini - the automated deal said that, and a live person basically said the same thing, something like 'it's in the shop but should be done today'. He also made it seem(in a friendly way) that from here on out they won't have much info....which means we can hopefully start tracking our boat(s) very soon. I should not be lazy and do something with my sig

 

MIne's finished up and waiting for it's ride to port! Might be on the same boat as some of you!

 

My cooper is "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" according to AskMini...anyone else hanging out at the docks? Time to start tracking a boat!

 

Although I was Production Week 19, my little guy has been at the port for a week . No word on why he keeps missing the boat! My MA is great about keeping me advised, at least.

Hi all. I think I am a fellow week 20'er. My Clubman started on 5/11 and is scheduled for a completion date of 5/18. For some reason, Ask Mini hasn't had an update on where it is in the process. They told me that it is likely that when it finally gets updated that I will have skipped a few steps along the way (at least by way of tracking it). I continue to wait, like the rest of you. Maybe I will have some news this evening. (fingers crossed)

 

How are we gonna get the boat name? the ASK MINI rep. said they don't have that information.

YeeHaa! My baby is scheduled to be complete today! I may be on the same boat as the rest of you that finished up this week. Very excited!
