Week 18 support group
I thought I read somewhere that they work Saturdays. It can't be more than 100 miles up to Stamford CT. Did your MA give you a clue when it might be ready - this week? Next? I'm expecting maybe a day or two delay at the dealer as we are having the driving lamps and a chrome lower grille fitted
he said possible tuesday (tom) or wednesday, but idk he has not called so i am doubtful it will be tomoorrow. im a half hour away from the city so i am really close.
cross my fingers though!!!!!!

I think it will be at least 1 day from when it arrives at the dealership to prep it and get it registered. Although I'm sure they are keen to get all the deliveries done by the end of the month. My MA also said they don't like to do handovers on Saturdays as they are so busy, so I'm thinking Friday or next Monday.
have you taken delivery yet!
Has anyone in week 18 taken delivery yet? I am in the midwest and my MA tells me it is going to be another 2 weeks al least! This will make it a full 8 weeks from order to delivery ( unless it takes longer)!!!
I must have ordered the "special" car that takes extra time! The worst thing about buying one of these is the wait!

I don't think anyone on this thread has yet. My MA is "out of the country" but the sales manager is now trying to get the numbers together. Should be at the dealer today - delivery on Saturday if the chrome grill arrives in time on Friday. If not Monday. (of course depends if I can get the check from Pentagon CU in time)
Stu. I am picking my car up this Friday the 30th. . . So I'm a Week 18er who is VERY close.
Actually, I could have picked mine up anytime starting today, but Friday is my first possible day due to the logistics of selling my old car.
I'm in Maryland, but my ship came in several days before yours.

I think that all of the cars on the east coast for week 18 will be ready within the next week or so. As for the midwest buyers, I think we have a few more weeks to wait it out. Unless they put it on a plane, it takes a while to drive here!
The question is WHO will be the first one for week 18? Remember pictures!!!

Good question. That said you may win the prize for longest wait, I dont think we ordered until April 26th...although I would have to check that to be sure...
Good job - looking forward to the pics
Be sure to post a picture. I'll charge up my camera tonight

Here it is. Turns out my MA had a family emergency hence him being out of the country.
However, the manager did the handover. Can't recommend MINI of Fairfield enough

My car is getting closer
My car has landed on U.S. soil ( according to MINIUSA)
How much longer until it gets to the dealer? Any input? I have been waiting since April 11 and I don't know how much longer I can wait without going crazy! I am fueling a massive SUV for everyday driving and it is running me broke! (and I want my new car too)

^ I believe our Mini arrived on the Thursday, it was at the dealer the following Thursday...so seven days, but there was a long weekend in there also. It should only take a day to prep the car.
Try and get ahold of your MA - he/she should have the most upto date information

Congratulations to all of the week 18 new mini owners. Unfortunately mine had to stay at the dealer for an extra week because of a bad alternator. As soon as I drove off the lot last Friday, the battery malfunction light came on. Well, just few more days before I have my mini for good.
I am guessing it will be at least a week as I am located in the midwest and you are on the east coast.
If I anticipate 2 weeks from now, I may be surprised by an early delivery!!!! I wish it was sooner but good things are worth the wait.

I have been waiting since April 11th to be in picking up a car. It looks like I have another 2 weeks!
