The dealers wait time varies as some dealers are sold out for their orders for 3 to 4 months. some only 2 month.. As a dealer may trade another dealer they then trade for an order spot from the dealer.. This is the case we lucked out to find.. They told me yesterday they had two ppl in looking to order but they could not help them as their normal order time was 12 weeks... catguy
ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH! How long is mine going to say "Awaiting Transport?" WW still says they never heard of her. She was born on May 2 and should not be abandoned in some ship yard! Am I going to have to go to GB and kick some butt?

TOMMYTHECORK,
YOUR MINI MIGHT BE ON A K-LINE SHIP, BECAUSE I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. MY MINI WAS BORN ON THE 2ND AND W/W SAYS THE SAME THING. YOU MIGHT BE ON THE "CARIBBEAN HIGHWAY" WHAT WE AT WEEK 17 CALL THE MYSTERY SHIP
Mine's been "awaiting transport" since May 9, so I have a feeling my MINI won't be on the Fedora, and will, most likely be on the untrackable K-line.
*heavy sigh*
I think that all of us who were completed May 2nd had problems appearing! I eventually showed up on the TASCO, but it shows my Port of Destination as Charleston, SC. I think that's strange since TASCO ports in NY on the 17th and then Charleston, SC on the 20th. I ordered my MINI out of Pittsburgh, PA, and was certain the vessel would take me to NY... (Unless the Patriot was such a wild bunch, they're not allowing anymore MINI's in NY!)

I would think that you are right about being on the K-line, because otherwise it wouldn't make sense to not have your VIN up on WW. Still though, if it were me I'd be freaking out and calling up all the different shipping companies trying to find out where my baby is. Be strong Peaches, your MINI will be here before you know it and then you won't have to worry anymore .
I got a call from my MA stating that our MINI is on a ship. That could only be the K-LIne. If that is true, then I be we are on the same ship Peaches. He also said that we should have our MINI by then end of this month.
My car has been "awaiting transport" since May 7th and it also has not shown up on the WW site. I think it is time to call ASK MINI and foind out where it is lost! I was hoping to have my car by June 1....at this pace it looks like July!!!
I'm in Texas, so I bet you are right. My MA says that it takes about a week to make it from the port to the dealership. The boat takes about 2 weeks to cross the pond. You should be motoring the first week of June!
Fedora left yesterday, but I can't find it on the sail-whatever tracking website yet...
Neither have I . Hopefully they send in their location soon. I wonder if the shipping people know that there are plenty of panicky MINI owners trying to see where their cars are?
Now I wonder if they process cars at the VDC on a weekend?
well when i talked to my ma he said the only thing that may slow us down from getting the cars was the holiday weekend, so i took it that they dont do anything on the weekend.
even though i would really hope they did. i want my mini noowww!
