Just ordered my first MINI a week ago. Nightfire red with body color roof and mirrors. Haven't yet decided whether to add a bonnet stripe or not (or whether I'd want white or black or ???) Tennessee dealer quoted 5 week delivery. Hope that's possible!

 

Congratulations, and welcome to the MINI family. The wait will not be easy for sure, but you have great sites like NAM to help feed the obsession while you wait

As for stripes, IMO - you really couldn't go wrong with either color. I would recommend the Viper stripes, though

 

My neighbors just bought a nightfire red cabrio and had black stripes with wht outline...looks sweet!!

 

You've got a great car coming. I think bonnet stripes are the way to go white or black; they help make a MINI that much more sporty. Also, 5 weeks is possible, that's how long I had to wait. I don't know how those waiting 10 weeks and more do it. Happy motoring.

The pic of the NFR MINI you posted has disappeared -- it is the truest color pic I've seen so far. Could you email it to me? toyotahal@hotmail.com Thanks. HAL: Check in the NFR Support group...lots of advice, pics, zaniness, etc...The color always changes, but stays more on the burgundy side with flecks of metallic that change the color. Don't worry, you'll like it!

 

+1 for black viper stripes. Then you will need some black wheels

Also I am guessing you ordered from Mini of Nashville...
Good choice I have nothing but praise for the service department, ask for Gary Gray he knows his stuff.

i got mine from MINI of Nashville and i got it 6 weeks to the day from when i ordered it. so i would expect 5-6 weeks being right
