Miami Newbie here...
Hello everybody. As a new member, I’m taking these few minutes to introduce myself:
For starters, let me thank all of you. Thanks to all the posting I have read here, my transition from Acura/Honda to MINI was made simpler and seemingly worry-free. After 15 years with Acura/Honda, it felt like skydiving for the first time. {Actually, sky diving was easier. I just stepped out and let gravity most of the work. ;o)}

Any way, I had been in the market for a new car for close to a year. Looking at the Acura TL, TSX; the Honda Accord Coupe and Honda S2000 but that’s no longer the case.

After 6 months of constantly looking and building MCS’ online, On Sunday, I took delivery of a “WELL HIDDEN; UN-INVENTORIZED” New Chili Red 2008 MCS with White roof. Premium and Sport packages with 17" Crown-spoke wheels and White Bonnet Stripes; Limited Slip Differential; Xenon headlights; White turn signals; Rooster Red Interior (which I LOVE) with Anthracite Headliner and Sport wheel w/ Multifunction.
Over the weekend, I’ll be looking to add the Rear fog lamps, center arm rest and a much needed bicycle rack.
As for me: I'm probably the youngest 36 year old. I enjoy comics, cartoons and sci-fi movies/shows and I’m a die hard fan of BATMAN. It seems that I only act my age from Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. I’m an Accountant by trait but looking to become an Officer of the Law. Currently in a LOOOOOONG Hiring process that has taken 9 months so far. Currently I have no children (working on it with wifey) but I do have 3 wonderful nieces who love to take advantage of their uncle. I enjoy riding mountain bikes on weekends, working out, playing sports, getting into all sorts of trouble, and spending time with our families.

Nevertheless, I may have posted more than everyone here is looking to know.

Either way… It’s GREAT to be part of the Motoring Family.

Ever heard of Comic Con? Biggest Comic Book Convention in the U.S. - comes here to the San Diego Convention Center (where I work) every year. So believe me, there are LOTS and LOTS of people of all ages that enjoy that type of entertainment...
http://www.comic-con.org/ It gets a little crazy here - over 40,000 people a day for 4 days...
