Hey Everybody, new to the site. Don't have a MINI yet, will probably order one in August for September-October Delievery.

I am coming out of 2 Subaru WRXs, so obviously I am a bit of a speed/car nut. I love the WRXs raw speed, awd, and quirky looks, but the car has a lot of funky noises that come from the cheap build, and lacks a lot of creature comforts, so while I will be sacraficing some speed, I hope with the Mini-S, I'll get a smoother, quieter, more "Refined" ride, while still having plenty of speed to have fun.

I will be ordering a Pearl White, with a black roof, anthracite Mini wheels, sunroof....some other stuff.....

My question is, I here everyone talking about the Hypersport package, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Mini Configurator, have they discontinued it for 08...? Also, at one point will they start taking orders on 2009s....

Other than that, I know quite a bit about the Mini, my father had the 17th Mini imported into the country in 2001 (yr?) got some cool stuff commemorating that , it was black with a white roof, in fact, that is the car I first learned to drive on (I've been driving a MT, since I first got my permit, never looked back), anyways, thats about it for now, any help with the Hypersport stuff, much obliged.

Orders for 09's can probably be placed in June or July. It's usually around then that production ramps up for the following year. It shouldn't be any later than September. As for the Hypersport thing, I've never heard of it. Ask some of the R56 guys and see what they say.
