Soooo does everyone recommend buying a brand new Mini?

I want to buy a new Mini but was checking out the certified used ones and now I think I have to buy a brand new one. I continued to read on the Mini at the consumer affairs website and they state (8/06) that it's one of the most improved cars but still ranks as below the industry average for dependability. Wassup w/that?

You can probably find lots of complaints about every car if you search for them. I have had my 06 for 2.5 years and the only issue that I have had is the motor mount and that is something that I could have caused when I was installing my super charger pulley.

The MINI is not the worst but not the best either. That is why we have warranties.

And it didn't take long to find 'em:

Might as well not buy any car then, eh?

There you go, better than Mazda and Nissan (though not as good as Mercury ). The other study was strictly for 2003 vehicles.

3 MINI's over 5 years. ZERO, with a 0, problems. Any car, including the most expensive, will have a list or horror stories. Many legit, some self inflicted. You can't make a judgement by anecdote. Still love mine.

Q: Where does one find the website with all the praises?

A: You don't.

Why don't we all go to that site and post our positive reviews for the car.
