After taking out the S, I had to get it...even though I could use the better gas mileage with the regular Cooper. Oh well..

Anyway, can anyone post pictures of an astro black with silver bonnet stripes? This is what I ordered, but I kind of regret it. Would I even be able to change this? It counts as an accessory, so it won't be installed until it hits the US.

Thanks...in addition, I just realized I can add Auto AC for free under the premium package...how hard is it to change your order once you placed it?

I probably wouldn't use Auto AC, but would I have a blank button if I don't get it?

Another Astro black here. Unfortunately I can't help you with pictures since mine is on a boat. I ordered without stripes though as I figured I could always add them later if I wanted.

Here's an AB on ebay. Not many good pictures and not the bonnet stripes but hopefully it gives you an idea. Also, you should be able to change your order up until it goes into production so if you have a few weeks you should be fine. Just call your dealer, they may complain but they can do it.

I have pics of my AB in my gallery, but no stripes- it's all checks.

I'm not sure if bonnet stripes are installed at dealer or the vdc. I know the roof graphics are dealer installed. i would think you could cancel that if you just ordered, esp. if dealer installed option. i'd check with your MA. also, they would be vinyl, so always can remove them yourself if didn't like them. i would have to put in a vote for auto ac. i think it looks so much nicer than the basic ac and i've driven both with and without and definitely prefer the look of the auto ac. but you wouldnt be missing a toggle switch without it.

 

Very helpful everybody...I ended up adding the Auto AC and Rear Fog Lights.

I ordered Saturday afternoon...I think the order didn't actually go in until Monday, and I e-mailed my MA for a production number on Tuesday. I have not heard back...does that mean he probably doesn't have one yet, or is he just ignoring me?

 

rear fog lights definitely worth the $100 so, 1, don't have empty toggle and, 2, to blind people would won't get off your tail at night and cause them to back off
