Hey guys first time poster and first time mini owner! Just purchased a used 2002 Black Mini Cooper w/ 37k miles on it! Boy was this thing fun to test drive. It has a 5 sp m/t, already installed Aero Kit (looks freaking sweet!), white bonnet stripes, white rims, white roof, white mirrors, and driving lights! Looks just like the ones in the italian job minus the whole "S" package. Plus it has the cold weather package and wow heated leather seats ftw! O a little info on my, first car i bought, 17 years old, and work at Best Buy. Paying for the car myself! So dont say i am spoiled! lol. But i am soo pumped to pick the car up on tuesday, will take some pics of it and update on tuesday for everyone to see. And first mods include:
-5% window tint all around
-Borla Exhaust
-Red K&N Typhoon CAI

 

just bought my first mini also. Its a 2004 mcs with 28,000.grey with white roof,mirrors and bonnet stripes.as soon as i test drove it i was hooked.

 

Nice! If i could afford an S i would defiantly be getting one but the base cooper still has some good pick up! And i know exactly what you mean about test driving the mini, the second that clutch let out and i felt the actually power and feel of the mini i was hooked, going 60 mph in a car like that feels freakin sweet! can't wait to pick my mini up on tuesday!

 

I just got my new 08 Oxygen Blue with white bonnet stripes, roof, and mirror caps on Feb 14. I guess i sorta am spoiled, because my grandfather bought it for me. But he only bought it for me because i was in a really bad car accident in november and broke my back, and sprained my ankles. so he bought it cuz he felt bad. i guess that still means im spoiled, because a new 08 mini is a pretty amazing get well gift! lol....

anywho, looking forward to seeing pictures of both of your guys new minis!!
