Three weeks and counting...

...until I'm a Mini driver Ordered 2/12, it's built and in mid-Atlatic on the Mignon.

Black/black S coupe, sport package, web spokes, cold weather, LSD, HiFi and iPod interface, rear fogs+white signals.
White viper stripes, checkered flag roof, 3M clearbra on nose+mirrors.

Frustrating thing is, it looks like I'll be on a business trip when it arrives, to that's one more little delay.

Ah well, it'll all be good.

Congrats on the new Mini! Mine's about two weeks out or so, but I'm lucky enough to have a business trip *this* week ... it will help keep my mind off the Mini.

Isn't the waiting hard?

Mine took over a week to get on a boat ... even though a boat left three days after production was finished and others that got their cars finished the same day made it on board.

Guess it all just depends on a lot of stuff. ASK-MINI wasn't any help during this period other than saying it was somewhere between on it's way to the docks and actually sitting at the docks. I just had to repeatedly check WW until my VIN finally popped up.

for east-coast delivery you can look it up here: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp

click on Cargo Tracking, then Auto Cargo. Put in you VIN, and you'll get you ship.

back to the home page, click on "Schedules" , then search by vessel, and you can figure out when your Mini gets to the US
