WEEK ELEVEN Support Group

I thought I was going to be part of week 10 group but just got off the phone with askmini and she said it's scheduled for week eleven! ordered 19 Feb.

Guess these clubmans are just too popular...

I was told week 10 but I ordered 2/24. Won't be too upset if I'm week 11.

Don't feel badly. I ordered 2/22, and I am scheduled for week 12. Maybe will shave a little time since I'm on the east coast.

On order: OB/W MC, premium package, fog lights.

Sweet! I just called and was told my Mini started production today! I wish it was possible to get an inside peek into their production schedule, because from the outside it seems really haphazard. I mean, some ordered mid-late February and are in the same week as myself which I ordered just this past Saturday. Seems like there is at least a 10-15 day window...

I guess I fall into Week 11. I originally thought I was in week 12, but I will take whatever I can get. Ordered on 2/26, production started 3/5. I have read that cars are being built for all dealerships. They have an alloted amount and they are scheduled for certain dates. If your dealership is slated for a shipment on a certain date all they have to do is plug in your configuration and yours will be one in the batch of other cars for that dealer. Your order, as well as others plus the remaining for dealer sales. However this system work, I am still drawing more impatient for my Hot Chocalate bundle of joy!
Keep the faith . . . . Motor on (speaking in future tense)

deja vu all over again...

Well this is my second MINI, first time was back in 03 for a Cooper S and I can tell you it does NOT get easier the second time!!! Ordered on 3/1 and should be completed on the 3/11. Can't wait, been several years without a mini, which is several years too long!

So out of everyone here what is the percentage of east coast vs west coast in terms of vehicle destination centers? I am in chicago so east coast for me... who else am I sharing a boat ride across with?

where the heck is it going?

I am unsure if this is still the case or not, but back in 2003 there were times that the boat carrying the cars over would have to make a 'stop' along the way. Which could be maddening if it was, say, going down to south carolina first then coming back up to drop off your mini... Anyone been following the flow of boats over know if the WW is still making detours?

I'd jump for joy if it had to stop in SC first - I'm south of Atlanta.
I try to look at the wait time optimistically - it gives me time to gather accessories and shop for bling for it.

East Coast...DC Metro area. I think that puts me going through New Jersey.

Is anybody's MINI showing up in the Owner's Lounge as Scheduled for Production yet? Mine is still On Order, but I talked to 866-ASK-MINI and they said its in production. (I've heard it takes a couple of days for the website to update...)

I went through the same thing ASK-MINI stated scheduled for production but web site showed on order, for me there was almost a three day lag on the website before it updated...

I had a one day lag between 1-866-ASK-MINI and the Owner's Lounge. Since I'm in Colorado I'm not sure which coast I would qualify for...

Colorado should be Left Coast...Just guessing.

We're not quite O/C yet, but we will get there! Check out Week 10, there's some serious hand holding there.....I'm sure we will reach that point too.

It just takes one fool with a misguided sense of humor to post something along the lines of "... OMG the boat flipped over..." to cause untold confusion and panic

Hello everyone! I ordered my car on 3/1 and today received notification that it's scheduled for completion on 3/14. I'm very excited!

I thought it would be amusing if it actually was started on the 4th as that was my birthday but I'm happy for any day in March for it to start.

So hello to all!
