Spoke with my MA today and my car is on a truck en route to the dealership. According to him it should arrive tomorrow or the next day! I should be able to pick it up by the end of this week! I am so pumped!!! I will be sure to get some pics and post them, if I am able to get out of the car. Almost here....

BTW, my MA told me it would be approximately 24 hours after delivery to the dealership before I can pick up my car. Anyone else hear the same thing?? Why can't I drive it home off the truck, haha.

 

You'd better believe I'm a pro! I ordered my car on December 23rd, but had to cancel it and go through the whole thing again after my wife decided she wanted Hot Chocolate... right after the Chili Red car went into production. I've been hanging around these forums for months!

 

i sat in wednesday in the techs bay yesterday! She was in the middle of getting programed :D I dropped off my euro tag i had made so they could make her official when i pick her up
So tomorrow after work better believe i will have some pictures posted! :D

Thats awesome, btw I really like your color combo, I am anxious to see some pics. I am just waiting on "the call" from my MA now, should be able to pick her up in the next couple days!

 

We pick ours up this coming Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. We went and saw it in the lot at the dealer in the dark last Saturday night. Just sitting there waiting with its sold tag on it. It came to the dealership 3 days early than expected. They have a few things to put on for us ,and we have to pick up a check on Friday from the person that bought our other car we sold, so we have our down payment. We have keep the whole day open on Saturday to drive around and do errands. We can not wait. Ugh. And It is only Tuesday.

 

Argh. I just heard at least part of the Canadian rail system went on strike, and my MCS is going to be a week late!
First week in April now... by then I'll probably be the only dude still posting here!!!

 

Those crazy Canadian unions. Hopefully, they don't vandalize anything. I hear that happens on occasion.

MY CAR IS HERE!!! Just spoke with my MA and my car arrived this morning at the dealership. He said he hopes to schedule my pick-up for tomorrow evening! I am just leaving work right now, I think I will swing by the dealer and stalk my new car, muhahaha. Can't wait for tomorrow!

just dawned on me, i never got a welcome package? Did anyone else who got a clubman get a welcome package?

 

If I remember correctly, various packages arrived from MiniUSA weeks and even months after we purchased our 2003 Cooper. We weren't expecting anything then, so who knows this time?

I've got 100 miles on the Clubman now. It runs, rides and handles great. I've got about half the features and programming set up and everything I've tried so far has worked. A relief after reading the complaints and problems forum for the last six weeks.
I'm even enjoying the auto tranny, first slushbox I've owned in 30 years.

 

 

A couple not so good pictures from my garage last night... Twiggy is home and doing very well... the ride in to work was great this morning... my phone is synced up, her 10 hi-fi speakers are sounding good... and about maybe half her options are tuned in the way I want them... more pictures tonight!!

 

Twiggy looks great. I need to get myself a blue tooth phone now. I want to see what will work best in the car.

 

My Sprint Palm Treo seems to work well... not sure yet about the phone book and all that but it's storing the numers I've calles etc....
