We had the key in our hand and the temp plate in my briefcase. It was awfully tempting to take it out for a spin. Lucky for the dealer it was blocked in by other cars.

I didn't see Munjoy's BRG Clubman, but they told me they drop a lot of cars off at the main BMW place nearby since there's not much lot space at the Mini dealer.

My work schedule is very flexible but Charlotte can only do it Monday or Wednesday morning this week. I doubt it'll be ready Monday, so looks like you'll beat me to it if you go down Tuesday.

BTW, Both my MA and yours were off yesteday, so someone else helped us find our cars. Your's was adjacent to ours but I didn't want to bug him too much about Munjoy's. I looked around a little but it was cold and windy as you can see from what Charlotte's wearing, and I was dressed for sitting in the warm car, not outdoor activities.

 

Just got an email from my MA. Mine's at the dealer!

We're trying to setup delivery for Tuesday! I can't wait!!!

I just turned 30 in January... it's not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.

I'm just back from picking up our LiB/S Clubman. There's a picture of it up above there.
It drives really great, really smooth and tight, and I'm really pleased with it. But I was lucky to get home alive.
Between playing with all the buttons, the standard, Sport and manual modes of the auto trans, setting the radio stations and the different nav and on-board computer views, I barely saw the road.

 

Sigh.....I'm so far away. I'm in Production Week 14. I'm so happy for all the new MINI mommies and daddies out there. I feel like you guys (Production Week 9 support group) are all old pros now and I have such a long way to go.

 

I just sat in my car.... it just rolled off the truck... it looks wonderful and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow!!! I'm a happy guy!!

 

Lucky ducks! And congrats to all of you that picked yours up and will be picking your bebes up today and tomorrow! I feel very far away now too, since I don't even have a production week yet! Safe motoring!
