2005 Stock MINI Chili Pepper Red

New to the site. Plan on doing some modding after warranty period is up. Or maybe upgrading to the S model. Unsure yet. I have experienced some intermittent issues with the car for example on occassion one side of the lights will not turn off. Leftside front and back on , right front and back off. Sometimes the radio doest work, over heated once replaced fan and thermostat. Windshield motors replaced. Car has the winter package but doesnt like the cold weather. You would think I hate this car, But when the car is running right its righteous. Bought the car new in 2005. Looks like new still. Anyone else have warranty issues that were addressed during warranty period, then after warranty expires the problems resurface? Who pays to have them fixed? Thanks

The lights stuck on on the left side happens when you shut the car off and have the left turn signal down, it is a courtesy light when you get out on the street so you do not get hit.

Page 60 of the 2005 owners manual. The lights will go out after a preset amount of time.

Ur right page 60. LOL, I took this in for service, the BMW dealer must not read the operators manual either.
