I just got back from ordering my '08 MY MCS.

Next week my MA will give me my number, then I can begin the agony of waiting for it to be built and shipped! I'm hoping to see it in early January.

Thanks to all on the NAM forums-I learned everything I needed to know to make an intelligent decision from these forums (along with the MINI configurator).

I was almost ready to order when the '08 configurator started, and although it threw me off for awhile, now I'm pretty confident that I only added what I needed/really wanted.

And I went with a fun color too...

Packages: Cold weather & Premium

Perf: DSC, Front & rear fogs, Xenons, auto trans, 16" bridge spoke performance

Cockpit: Anthracite, MY color line dash, Piano black, leatherette, MFSW

MA is throwing in floor mats, and I'm adding mud flaps. I'm also ordering a set of winters from Tirerack since I live in New England.

Similar to what i will be ordering. The chrome line interior would look sharp with the piano black, u might want to consider it?

Welcome to NAM. Do what you can to follow the building and shipping of you Mini. It helps pass the time. 866-ask-mini is good until the car leaves the factory.

 

Thanks-I'll check out 866-ask-mini and figure out all of the other tracking methods. Should be cool.

Knowing what's going on while you wait will be both really helpful, and make me extra aware of every second that passes from now to January!

Buyer's remorse lasted about one hour. Now I just can't wait to get behind the wheel!
