I wanted to say hi to the NAM community! I will be getting a Mini Cooper S soon, well as soon as I find a good deal on a good condition mini S close to Alpine, Texas. This would be my second toy car, the other is a Z4. Luckily, I'm not married so I can have multiple toys!!!

Welcome and happy hunting for that MCS! I've seen a few in this area and places close that were nice looking MINIs for good prices (compared to new).

I'm divorced. They took ALL my toys away. The MINI is rationalized as a daily drive to work vehicle. Shhhhhh. Don't tell them.

 

If it hasn't been modified, I will do ECU, 15% Pulley, intake (Alta) header, exhaust, springs, coil, plugs and if I'm lucky and my new home construction doesn't suck up all the money, I may do the head, cam, supercharger porting and a body kit. Wish me luck!

I think I found the one! It's a chili red with white roof MCS. It has black leather, Harman Kardon, sunroof, white bonnet stripes and if I'm not mistaken it has the premium package. Not sure about a sport package but it has white wheels. I will be swapping the wheels for black or dark gray. I may pick it up tomorrow. Excited!
