HELP with rear rotors

2003 MC s

I went to change the pads and rotors on my mc and having a bad time of it.
First of all tons of rust on all the parts.

I took the rear passenger off and now cant get the piston to retract. The piston will not go back so I can use the tool from HF.

HELP

George

can you put your phone number on here

1. Are you doing the CCW rotation? The piston has to be rotated CCW (I think it was CCW... perhaps CW?) as you push it back. This is unlike the front rotors.
2. Is your e-brake disengaged?

This post belongs in a different forum... perhaps you can PM a mod to move the thread for you? Other people who know a heck of a lot might have a better idea of exactly where you're stuck.
