Good catch! I updated the original post to include the VINs for the Charleston cars. Sorry to hear that you missed the Liberty... I guess the OTELLO is the next up, right?

 

Actually, there is a K-line ship called Frisia that is also leaving Southampton on 10/12 and is supposed to arrive in Charleston on 10/25. I am in Florida so I think my MINI needs to be shipped to Charleston. Perhaps my MINI made it to that one. I have emailed my MA to see if they have any info. It looks like the next WW ship to Charleston is COURAGE and leaves on 10/19. OTELLO leaves on 10/16 but it looks like it is offloading only at New York and not Charleston.

I was wondering why, as I'm in Minnesota, my MINI goes to South Carolina instead of New York? That seems rather out of the way, and a waste of five days. Anyone know how they decide these things?

 

From posts I have read seems the delivery times from the VDC in SC is rather quick, like 2 to 3 days to the Chicago area. As for whom decides which VDC Minis arrive at, that would be a company decision.

 

Obviously some sort of sadist decides these things

Wow, some of you guys are so lucky! Good for you! I see your car finished production just one day before mine. I think mine is still sitting on the docks as my dealer has no clue whether it has shipped or not. I have done everything I can to find some shipping info but I have not been able to find anything. At this rate, I probably won't take delivery until late November. So our cars are only one production day apart, but I will probably take delivery one month after you! What kind of crazy world is this??

 

I agree that is rediculous!! There are ships that left a little later tho...courage and integrity left 10/20 and 10/27 so maybe it wont be as bad especially if you catch the courage that left 10/20.....ive also heard of these other ships like the k-line...one left the same as liberty but goes directly to SC on the 25th and ive heard its hard to track if your on that ship or not.

I hope all goes well and the only thing that i can say is that we are much more lucky than those past orderers that had to wait 3-6 months for an order haha we get it in a matter of weeks
