That's what I was thinking. Shinemicro is updating every 1 to 2 minutes right now and the ship is clearly moving along towards the south. As of 10:00 pm ET she is just south of Ingram Bay, VA.

 

OK, looks like I missed the arrival time. However, the Port of Charleston is now showing the Western Highway's arrival date as today. Shinemicro has not updated since last night and I don't see her on AISFree right now.

Better news, called my MA this morning and he confirmed the boat arrives today. Even better, I have a delivery date too! Friday, October 12th she's mine!

I give up. The Port of Charleston vessel schedule does not show she is docked, does not show she was docked in the past 10 days, and now shows the Western Highway's next arrival as 10/31/07. AIS has not updated in 2 days and still shows her just off the coast of VA.

This tracking of the MINI is enough to make you go crazy!

 

IMHO AIS is just about worthless. I'm going with the assumption that the boat either docked yesterday or will today.

 

I agree regarding AIS. Looks like I spook to soon as the Western Highway is now showing docked! Arrived at 12:05 am ET 10/4/07 and work has begun.

 

I know the feeling. I even tried to call shore-to-ship when my MINI's ship fell off the tracking sites.

 

The Port Charleston web site shows Western Highway disembarked last night at 18:15, so our cars are likely on the way to the VDC.

 

It sure is and it doesn't help that the OL updates so slowly. Mine still shows enroute with no other info such as arrival date.

 

Mine finally shows in the OL as being at the VDC. And it also update the order info with an Estimated delivery date of 10/7/07. Is the delivery date the day it arrives at the dealer?

 

It's suppose to be, yes. However, I've read many posts stating this is not always acurate. Don't foget once it arrives at the dealership they usually need 1-3 days for pre-delivery prep, any options the VDC did not install, etc. You should call your MA to schedule a delivery date.

I suggest you call your MA to schedule your actual delivery. Once it's at the VDC they know exactly when it will arrive to them so setting a date is easy.

 

The OL had my estimated delivery date (dealer) perfect. OL says 10.08.07 and my MA called today to confirm they received the car last night. Picking her up on schedule... this Friday.
